Temu Price History: Should You Wait for a Lower Price?

Meet Sam and Alex. They both want the same lamp, and they both hate overpaying. Sam goes looking for Temu price history, finds nothing useful, and starts checking the price every day, hoping to buy at the bottom. Alex just buys it and lets RefundRadar handle the rest. Here's how the next 40 days play out.

Sam times the purchase. Alex just buys.

Same lamp, same prices. Sam waits for a dip before buying. Alex buys on day 0.

Illustrative example. Temu refunds each drop below your last price as Temu Credit, for 30 days after each order.

How often do Temu prices change?

Often. Thousands of sellers set their own prices, and Temu adds flash sales, sitewide promotions and personalised discounts on top. The same item can be 20–40% cheaper a couple of days after you order, then bounce back just as quickly.

The price you see today may not be the price tomorrow
Temu doesn't hold the price you saw earlier. What you pay at checkout is what counts, and prices can change within hours.

Is there a Temu price history tracker?

Not really, and this is where Sam got stuck. Tools like Keepa and Camelizer chart Amazon prices, but nothing like them works for Temu. Listings change too fast, and Temu makes its data hard for outside tools to collect. If you want a rough idea before you buy:

  • Watch the listing for two or three days. A price that holds steady is a fair baseline. A one-day plunge is usually a flash sale.
  • Ignore the crossed-out "original" price. Nobody checks it independently. Judge by the current price.
  • Leave it in your cart for a day. Sometimes the cart shows a slightly lower price. Not always.

Why timing your purchase rarely works

Without a price history, "waiting for the right moment" means checking the listing over and over and guessing. Sam did it properly: a check every day for ten days, a dip spotted, a purchase at what looked like a good price.

Then the price dropped again, twice. Sam spotted the first drop and claimed it back. The second, and lowest, came and went between checks. Sam also went ten days without the lamp. A dip today tells you nothing about next week, and Temu prices move too often for anyone to time them well.

The better way: Temu's 30-day price adjustment

If an item's price drops within 30 days of your order, Temu pays you the difference as Temu Credit. It's an official feature, found on the item in your order. The rules that matter:

  • 30 days from your order date, not from delivery.
  • It's compared with what you actually paid, after coupons, not the crossed-out price.
  • The button only shows while the price is down. If the price bounces back before you claim, that drop is gone.
  • You can claim again every time the price drops below your last price.

Put together, that means you don't need to time your purchase at all. Buy when you need something, and the lowest price it reaches in the next 30 days can become the price you pay, as long as somebody catches every dip. How Sam and Alex's 40 days played out

Sam checked the price fifteen times, waited ten days for the lamp, and still felt the sting when it got cheaper after buying. Being careful with money cost Sam time, and it still didn't get the lowest price.

Alex bought straight away and never checked once. RefundRadar watched the order in the background and claimed each drop as it appeared, so Alex paid the lowest price the lamp reached in those 30 days and had it the whole time.

Same lamp, same prices. The only difference is who did the watching.

What RefundRadar does (and doesn't do)

It isn't a price-history chart, and it won't tell you when to buy. It's a free iOS and Android app that watches the items in your Temu orders for 30 days and claims the price adjustment for you each time the price drops below what you paid. You connect your Temu account once. It also picks up orders you've placed in the last 30 days, so you're covered from day one.

Stop checking prices. Let the refund come to you.
Connect your Temu account once and RefundRadar claims your price drops in the background, before the 30-day window closes.

Frequently asked questions

Does Temu have a price history tool?

Temu does not show you a chart of how a product's price has moved over time on its own app or website. Third-party browser extensions such as Camelizer or Keepa do not cover Temu either, since they focus on Amazon. The most useful thing you can do before buying is check a listing across several days to see if the price is holding steady, and — after you buy — let a tool like RefundRadar monitor the price and auto-claim the difference if it drops within 30 days.

How often do Temu prices change?

Temu prices are highly dynamic. Many listings update multiple times a week, and it is not uncommon for a price to shift within a single day — especially around flash sales, major shopping events, and when a seller adjusts stock. The variation can be significant: the same item can swing by 20–40% within a week.

Can I get money back if the Temu price drops after I buy?

Yes. Temu has a 30-day price adjustment policy: if the price of an item you bought drops within 30 days of your order, you can claim the difference back as Temu Credit. The claim is made through the Price Adjustment button on the item inside your order — it only appears while the current price is lower than what you paid and you are still within the 30-day window.

What is RefundRadar and how is it different from a price tracker?

RefundRadar is not a pre-purchase price-history chart. It is a free iOS and Android app that connects to your existing Temu account and monitors all your past orders for post-purchase price drops. When a qualifying drop is detected, it automatically files the price adjustment claim for you — no manual checking, no missed windows. The focus is entirely on recovering money you are already owed, not on helping you decide whether to buy.

What counts as a "price drop" for Temu's price adjustment?

A price drop means the current listed price of the exact item you bought is lower than the price you actually paid. The comparison is to your paid price after any coupon or discount — not the original list price. The Price Adjustment button appears on the item in your order when this condition is met and you are within 30 days of your order date.

Does the price have to stay low for me to claim the adjustment?

Yes. The Price Adjustment button is only visible while the current price is actively lower than what you paid. If the price recovers before you claim, the button disappears. Temu prices can rebound quickly, which is why timing matters — and why auto-claiming the moment a drop is detected is more reliable than checking manually.

Can I claim multiple price adjustments on the same order?

Yes. Temu allows multiple price adjustment claims on the same order — for example, if an item drops in price, you claim it, and then the price drops again, you can claim the new drop too, as long as you are still within the 30-day window and the current price is lower than what you last paid after any previous adjustment.
